— My Story —

I wanted to start a little collection brand that spins off of my daily life; the life I typically share on Instagram and my blog.  I felt that it should represent me as a whole and show off my creative side.  I had many other ideas running around in my head but I ended up with this little idea and that is YOKO Accents.

YOKO = Your Own Kind Of

YOKO is an acronym but it is also a Japanese name.  I’ve always loved the name Yoko.  It’s simple, cute and it has meaning.  The name Yoko is of Japanese decent (which I am half Japanese) and it is often written with the kanji 子 (ko) meaning “child.”  I always loved how short and sweet the name is.  Actually my dad has an Auntie named Yoko and it inspired this thought. 

When I think of the word “child” I think YOUTHFUL, BRIGHT, ENERGETIC & SOFT.  Adding any of these adjectives into your life is always a wonderful thing don’t you think?  Having YOKO Accents in your oasis is like adding a pop of positive energy, some colour that you’re missing or a subtle addition to your aesthetic. 

— What I sell —

I currently offer handmade beaded bracelets and rings. My Etsy shop offers single loop beaded bracelets, each of them having their own flower. I also offer a beaded rings which I find super cute to add to your Summer outfit.

I have also been selling custom double loop bracelets. These have become very popular and I plan on adding them to my Etsy shop in the future.

I offer customizations on my bracelets and this is a great way to express yourself! I have clients that enjoy a simple initial or two, a nick name, a word or phrase that has meaning to them or an acronym.

Although these bracelets are very colourful, I offer gender-free styling! My signature feature of my bracelets is the “Daisy Flower” however I am open to accepting orders without the flower. I also offer an array of colour options from pastels to more vibrant/darker colours.
