Marriott Ocean Club Resort - Palm Beach
Aruba is a small Dutch Caribbean Island off the coast of Venezuela. Windy (AF), Always sunny, white sand beaches and dessert terrain. Aruba is a beautiful Island. It's lush with wildlife and the most pleasant locals.
We spent an even amount of time at our resort and in the nearest shopping town. Our shopping town had lots to do. Shopping. Eating. Entertainment. Etc. We did a little bit of shopping, but mostly eating. I came across a small little business called VADavas. Consisting of hand made jewlry by three sisters of Aruba. The sweest girls ever. I ended up buying a choker from them. One, because it's very cute and two, I wanted to support their business.
One day We visited the downtown capital of Oranjestad for the morning one day and took a bus ride to a local beach near the California Light House. We tried to walk to the light house but it's a hell of a walk from that beach and you're literally walking though a dessert. We stopped half way, took some pictures and then headed back. We got a nice tan that day. NOte: Rent a car while in Aruba. It's a good way and easy way to explore the island. Most of the naural attractions are on the other side of the island.
Near the end of our trip is when we went out for some meals. We ended up going to two different Italian restaurants and one more healthy restaurant. Other than that, we made our own meals.
It was hot. So we did a lot of lofting around by the pool and beach. I'm totally okay with doing that. It's part of the reason why I go on trips. R n' R. I love going on vacation. It always makes me feel fresh, calm and collective. The sun feels amazing on the skin. The salty air is breathtaking. the water is refreshing. I didn't take a lot of photos on this trip. I enjoyed my time with these two love birds. You need to experience Aruba for yourself.
