I feel like the food industry has blown up over the past few years...not only that, it's so much easier to share and find new places like this one online and on social medias. I've seen so many different types of ice cream ideas pop up that are enormously astonishing. If you're a foodie then you've seen it.
I remember while walking on Queen Street with my brother and seeing two Asian guys sitting and eating this black ice cream. I figured we coudln;t be far from wherever they got it from. and since it's black ice cream I kinda wanna try it. regardless of the flavour, it made for an amazing picture lol.
Like anything else hype and new, there was a bit of a lineup but nothing to huff and puff about. They serve many more flavours than just the black one; which by the way it called black on black and it's coconut charcoal flavoured...so no it doesn't taste weird. THey also have Ube haze which is a purple coloured soft serve made from ube or purple yams. Meet your matcha is a green tea infused soft serve. Been there, done that is a twist of vanilla bean and matcha flavours. There was also a coconut charcoal / ube twist as well but I can't remember the name.
I mean...go check it out!
it's located right opposite of Trinity Bellwoods Park on Queen Street W.
THe service was fast and the girls where very nice. The location is small but very cute. THey not only serve just soft serve ice cream but also the regular type which looks pretty bomb as well.
THis is the first activated charcoal ice cream shop to open in Toronto.
