Life as a Plant Mom
Plants truely make you more feel more happy. They send out a lively energy that uplifts us and puts a smile on our faces. THeir colours and beauty lifts our spirits brings us happiness.
I know plants can be hard to take care of but really…it’s not that bad. Most plants just need to be watered once a week. I also mist all of my plants about every 2 days. Since most of my plants are more tropical, It’s good to make them feel like they are in the tropics by misting their leaves and soil.
DIEFFENBACHIA CAMOUFLAGE
Her name is Talula and she is one of the newest members of the family. She fits in the corner perfectly. I love her light coloured green leaves compared to all the other darker green plants I have. She is the biggest plant I currently own and I just want more of her.
Fiddle Fig
They are quit fiddle these fiddle figs. This one is named Youncé. She is curvy and girly. Her leaves are thick and dark. Fiddle Figs don’t like to be moved or touched. I water mine once a week and mist it as well. It’s a tropical plant that needs that extra love.
Monstera Plant
Oh Mona. She is one of my favourites. I love seeing her grow. So far she has had 2 new shoots come up and bloom. It’s beautiful thing to see. This plant also needs extra care and loving. I make sure she feels like she is in the tropics.
Ficus or Rubber Plant
Fits perfectly right beside my TV. I love the dark colour of the leaves. This beauty comes in different colours! My goal is to get one with pink in the leaves.
Try getting a small plant first. get a routine about taking care of it and you won’t regret it!
