The Coffee Table Book You Should Have On Your Coffee Table
having an Aesthetically pleasing coffee table is goals. Not having it cluttered with nonsense, empty coffee stained mugs…you know what I mean. There are many cute things to put on ones coffee table and it varies from person to person BECAUSE everyone has their own styles and topics of interest. Those styles and topics reflect in your coffee table books of choice. Here are mine.
I’ve had a majority of these books for many years now and just recently received my latest addition for Christmas and thought why not share my favourite coffee table books. Now my coffee table books are actually housed on the shelf of my T.V. stand but my goal in life is to have a massive light creamy grey concrete coffee table where I can display a book or multiple books on.
My coffee table book genres consist of science, art, history, design & writing. They are interesting topics where you can learn a quick point on the topic and they are also great conversation starters. You never know who shares similar interests.
journal
Make your choice wisely. You obviously don’t want your personal thoughts out in the open so make it something about memories to share or something along those lines.
Interior Design Magazine
I love me a cozy couch and grand dinning room. My dream couch happens to be in this RH catalogue. These books hold so much inspiration and such a fun topic to talk about.
a minimalistic magazine
A very pretty magazine that doesn’t look like a magazine is a staple. It’ll make people want to pick it up and browse. This one happens to be on the topic of weddings. It’s such a pretty addition to the table.
Poetry Book
My unknown love for poetry blew up about 6 or so years ago. It has then since slowed down but I still love the books I’ve purchased and like taking a peek in them from time to time. I just got this gorgeous new haiku Japanese poetry book that has the Japanese (phonetic and symbol version) & English version of the poems with a lovely illustration to it. Something so simple to read and a great way to learn a few phrases in Japanese.
History book
I love ancient history and I have this gorgeous book on history of the world in general. But again, a great conversation starter with so many topics to talk about.
short lessons on Physics
A very small yet powerful book where you could open it up and learn a simple fact about our universe and how it is.
