HOKA® One One | Bondi 7

This is one of the adult things that makes Me so happy. A good pair of running/walking shoes. thankfully these shoes are not only so comfy but also stylish. THey take that dorky thick sole orthotic looking running shoe and make it cute.

There are many different styles offered by the brand Hoka®. I have the Bondi 7 style in the colour Purple Heather/Clematis Blue. I was debating between the simple black and white pair but I decided not to be boring and go for a more vibrant colour. I’m so happy with them. It’s a shoe to last a life time.

I was so surprised at how light weight they are! You’d think with such a big sole they would have some weight to them. Also for the fact they are nice and wide (and yes they are the regular fit). My foot fits perfectly in them and there was no break in period which is amazing! I did a full 10 km walk in them and I felt great, I mean my body was hella sore but that’s just me being out of shape.

— SIZING —

I would say they are true to size. I am a size 9, sometimes 8.5. I got a size 9 and they are perfect. They offer a little bit of room which is key for running and walking. If the shoe is too tight and close to your toes then you can loose a toe nail or two. Not cute. After my 10 km walk, there was no blister action and no irritation around the toes and ankles.

— FEEL & FIT —

It feels like you’re walking on a cloud. Honestly they are great. The support in these shoes are a normal on their scale and feel pretty sturdy. I didn’t fall to the side while walking to twist any ankles. I love the curve of the sole. It gives a nice feel from heel to toe. I feel kind of invincible walking in these. I feel like I can walk forever…but my body won’t let me LOL.
